Check out this realistic 3D cloud created by Hayden Clay. Recently, the artist revealed an asset pack with 50 VDB cloud models, and one of the clips showcases a cloud 3D model in more detail.
The clouds are procedurally made VDB, and the artist used Blender/Cycles for this work. The assets can be used to create realistic environments featuring landscapes, as well as to accompany fantasy-themed semi-realistic setups.
