Boonar Studio has released Terrain Mixer 2.0.5, its node-based terrain generator for Blender. It introduces options to flatten the ground and blend models and adds AAA 3D scans and materials to Assets.
The developer describes the tool as a shader-based system that uses up to 9 heightmap sources to mix and generate new terrains. The new version brings two new shader node groups – Plain Terrain Blend and ShaderBlend. The first allows you to make an area flat, and the second helps you seamlessly blend the terrains.
The studio also added AAA 3D scans, like rocks and ruined buildings, and AAA materials of textures to Assets.
Terrain Mixer 2.0.5 is available for $39. Buy it on Gumroad, find the patch notes here, and don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform, our Reddit page, and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
