No one does it like Team Fortress 2 voice cast.
Released almost 17 years ago, Team Fortress 2 definitely holds strong even to this day. Partly it's because of the game's ageless concept and approach to character design and worldbuilding, with all nine playable characters fitting a certain solid archetype and role. Partly it's thanks to the game community and amazing voice cast, who have been meeting up in recent years to recreate their roles in various skits.
This time they reunited to recreate Meet the Sniper, an introductory video released in 2009, now featuring real-life voice actors in authentic costumes instead of original game characters, starring John Lowrie as Sniper, Gary Schwartz as the Heavy Weapons Guy, and Dennis Batemen as the Spy.
TF2 YouTuber ShorK, who is responsible for making this possible, is also known as the author of other popular sketches featuring the TF2 voice actors like Heavy Is Dead and most importantly, the one who put together a video of them playing the game for the first time ever:
Probably one of the most hilarious, fever dream-ish, and personally my favorite skit is The Sandvich Blues written by John Lowrie himself and performed by the voice cast:
Sandvich is an iconic item in Team Fortress 2, but is also what snowballed this whole thing, when the cast united during PAX West 2022 to set on a hunt for sandwiches, amusing random people on the streets.
