The Most Popular & Successful Deadlock Heroes Were Revealed

One of the characters was picked in over 92% of the games and had an approximately 57% win rate.

Valve

Valve announced Deadlock just over a week ago, and it has already proven to be an immense success. You can find out which in-game heroes are the most popular and how well they perform.

On Tracklock, the website with Deadlock-related statistics, the heroes can be ranked according to their win and pick rates, total games, and total wins. In the current patch, the top characters in terms of wins are Seven, Warden, Haze, and McGinnis, while Seven, Haze, Vindicta, and Wraith are the most picked by players.

Here are the most successful heroes with the highest win rate in the current patch:

The most picked characters over the recent times:

Seven is the ultimate fan favorite: this character ranks first both in wins and picks, recently and over the last year. This character has a 57.11% win rate in 2,582,745 games, and the pick rate is over 92%. The runner-up among the fan favorites is Haze, which holds the second position in pick rate and the fourth in win rate.

Take a look at win and pick rates over the last year:

Seven is a character "great for new players," as stated in the game's bio. At the same time, he's a rather lethal character with his Lightning Ball and Storm Cloud.

Warden, McGinnis, and Vindicta are also among the most popular characters and have relatively high pick rate:

The least picked heroes are Ivy, Shiv, Lash, Mo & Krill, and Viscous, and the ones with the smallest number of wins are Viscous, Grey Talon, Paradox, and Vindicta, as they are considered harder to play. Vindicta, though, remains one of the most picked characters, ranking third in pick rate over the last year.

Valve currently adjusts Deadlock's hero-based matchmaking system, as it pairs players with different skill levels, probably unable to keep up with the influx of new players yet. The game reached almost 90,000 concurrent players on the reveal day and peaked at over 106,000 online players a few days later. As of now, the all-time peak has risen to over 171,000, with nearly 134,000 achieved in the last day.
