Theorycraft Games presented the first concept arts of its "whimsical, pop-apocalyptic fantasy" MOBA and shared that Legends of Runeterra game director Andrew Yip and Arcane art supervisor Kévin Le Moigne have joined the team.
The developers describe their upcoming title as a game set in a fantastical "pop-apocalyptic" world in the sky that should appeal to all fans of the MOBA genre. The studio didn't provide any further details neither on the concept of the game nor on the release date, however, it announced new developers joining the team.
Theorycraft Games shared that former Legends of Runeterra game director Andrew Yip and art supervisor of animated series Arcane Kévin Le Moigne will now be working on the development of Loki.
"We are combining our professional strengths and personal loves for different genres to forge something entirely new with Loki," CEO Joe Tung said. "Andrew's knowledge of deep gameplay systems and Kévin's ability to bring fantastical worlds to life will further our mission to make Loki the rewarding, imaginative experience that we've envisioned since its inception."
Other Loki developers have previously worked on many major titles, including League of Legends, Halo, Destiny, and Overwatch.
Loki has been in development for a year, but Theorycraft Games has already managed to conduct closed testing and get the first feedback from players. If you want to apply for participation in closed testing, visit the studio's official website.
