Greyscalegorilla's 4000+ high-quality assets are now compatible with all major 3D software, including Blender, Houdini, and others.
The Greyscalegorilla team has announced that Greyscalegorilla Plus, a library of over 4000 high-quality 3D materials, textures, models, and HDRIs, previously available exclusively for Maxon's Cinema 4D, is now compatible with all major 3D applications.
This transition, described as "From Exclusive to Inclusive" by Greyscalegorilla, opens up the library's assets to 3D artists using various Digital Content Creation software, allowing them to instantly access hand-crafted materials, versatile HDRIs, and fully UV-mapped models that the library offers.
Furthermore, the team has shipped three Material Importer Plug-ins for Blender, Houdini, and Unreal Engine, designed to simplify the process of integrating Physically Based Rendering (PBR) textures into fully connected materials, ultimately saving users time.
"For over a decade, Greyscalegorilla has empowered Cinema 4D artists to do their best work. Our assets, plugins, and training have exclusively catered to one DCC," commented the team. "But what about the vibrant community of 3D artists using Blender, Houdini, Unreal Engine, and more? You’ve been asking. We’ve been listening."
