THQ Nordic, the publisher behind Darksiders, Destroy All Humans!, Wreckfest, and BioMutant, announced it will host its second annual digital showcase on August 12. At the event, the publisher will unveil new projects and talk about the development of already announced games like Outcast 2 – A New Beginning and Jagged Alliance 3.
THQ Nordic's upcoming titles will be based on both existing and new IPs that will expand "the company’s portfolio into new genres". The publisher noted that fans should expect harsh dark stories as well as bright colorful adventures.
According to the trailer the company shared, gamers can look forward to updates on SpongeBob multiverse adventure, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, and more.

The showcase will be broadcast on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam on April 12 starting at 3 p.m. ET. The first THQ Nordic event took place in September 2021 where the company presented six new games, including a 3D platformer based on the SpongeBob animated series.
In February 2019, THQ Nordic received a $225 million investment to develop 77 games. Some of them have already been released or announced, but most are still unknown, so probably, we'll see them at the upcoming event.
