A trademark with the title “Starborn” was filed by ZeniMax.
Bethesda
A Twitter user Timur222 has spotted what can be a trademark for a potential expansion for Starfield published on the website of Justia, a company providing legal and marketing information. The document titled "Starborn" dates July 12, 2024, and is registered in the category of Trademarks, namely Trademarks for electrical and scientific apparatus. The software product, for which this trademark is intended, is "downloadable computer game software", according to the description in the document.
As stated on the website, the current trademark's owner is ZeniMax Media, which was an original applicant of the document. ZeniMax Media Inc. is a renowned American game developer and publisher, retaining legal rights to multiple trademarks, including Bethesda, Starfield's developer and publisher. Coincidentally, Starborn themselves are a group of mysterious beings featured in Starfield, lending credence to the theory that the new trademark refers to an upcoming DLC for the game, seemingly centered around these enigmatic entities.

As of right now, there isn't any information from Bethesda on the potential Starborn expansion, and it is unclear whether Starborn even going to be a DLC. Speaking of confirmed Starfield updates, on June 9, Bethesda shared an announcement of the new Starfield expansion, Shattered Space. The company also stated that there will be multiple new mods for Starfield thanks to the long-awaited introduction of Creation Kit.
