Control Rig is a new scriptable rigging system in Unreal that is based on Blueprint. The system is meant for controlling properties to drive animation. Epic has recently hosted a session on Control Rig and how it can be used inside the engine. Epic's Helge and Jeremiah discussed Mannequin Control Rig examples from the Marketplace and showed how to use Control Rig with Sequencer to animate a character. The developers also shared tips on how to debug rigs and talked about how you can implement the system in production.
