Use Cascadeur Features in Blender with This Helpful Bridge

The add-on by Aron Nemeth is free to use.

If you'd like to have the physics-based animation abilities of Cascadeur right in Blender, you need this free bridge created by Aron Nemeth. It does what all bridges do – speeds up your character animation work by letting you launch Cascadeur inside Blender.

As noted by CG Channel, the add-on can also batch-import Cascadeur animations to the 3D character in Blender starting from version 1.0.

Here are some of the tool's features:

  • Start Cascadeur from Blender
  • Export scene from Blender to Cascadeur
  • Import whole scene from Cascadeur
  • Import animation to selected armature
  • Batch import all opened scenes and actions from Cascadeur
  • Configure Cascadeur FBX export settings
  • Configure Blender FBX import/export settings

Speaking of Cascadeur, Nekki has recently previewed a mobile version of the application, which will be available for iPads and iPhones at first.

The latest Cascadeur Bridge for Blender works with Blender 3.5+ and Cascadeur 2023.2 on Windows and Linux. It's free and can be downloaded here.
