Paul H. Paulino reposted some details on Boba Fett's digital double prepared for the recent Disney show.
Senior Texture Artist at Epic Games Paul H. Paulino, who previously worked as a Texture Artist at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) Vancouver, reposted some behind-the-scenes shots of Boba Fett's digital double that was used in The Book of Boba Fett TV series. The making-of footage was originally shared on the OLED SPACE by LG Display channel. According to Paul, he was responsible for UVs, texture work, and initial look development for the bounty hunter's digital double that was used in several action scenes. The tools used for the character were Mari, Substance 3D Designer, and RealityCapture.
And here's the digital double in the show itself:
This cool asset was also used to create the amazing Times Square LG OLED billboard:
"It was an honor to have worked on such an iconic character and I hope you guys enjoyed it as well," commented Paul.
