Naughty Dog's Senior Environment Modeler Edgar A. Martinez has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the game's town-building wireframes.
The artist said that during the early stages of The Last of Us remake's production, he together with a small team of artists, worked on the game's vertical slice (a fully-playable portion of a game that is complete with assets that represent the final quality and have the game's key features and systems that are all working together properly).
The artist also revealed that all the buildings in the game share many instances and the geometry on the renders he has published represents the highest level of detail.
