Add Cloth Folds to Your Characters in Blender With This Neat Solution

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes and works in real-time.

Check out Folds Modifier, a new Blender solution from MultLabs that lets you quickly and easily apply cloth folds to your character models without having to resort to heavy simulations. Powered by Geometry Nodes, this tool is based on texture maps, giving you the ability to draw your folds and maintain full artistic control. Additionally, since the plug-in operates in real-time, you won't have to wait for simulations to see the results.

"Note that you should make a texture map before use, it does not simulate cloth, but uses a texture map. It is a solution for animation, not for sculpting, but yes you can apply it to mesh," comments the creator."Textures are recommended to switch to non-color data mode. It is feasible only in Shader Editor at this moment. You can add a texture node to any material and change mode here, then remove the nodes."
