An Interactive 3D Painting Made with Unreal Engine 5, Arduinos & Kinect

The painting comes to life when illuminated.

Benjamin Oláh presented a new project: an interactive 3D painting that uses speakers, motion capture, screens, and microcontrollers to create a complete audiovisual experience. Shining light on it makes the painting come to life.

"This study shows that by using newer equipment and technologies, digital art can be taken to the next level and create truly immersive and engaging experiences for viewers," said the creator.

The project was made using Unreal Engine 5, Arduinos, and Microsoft Kinect.

Something similar was created by 3D Designer 五天晴 using Blender and iPhone's gyroscope.
