Unity Asset Store is currently offering a generous 50% discount on Bakery, a cutting-edge GPU light mapper designed as an alternative to Enlighten and Progressive.
Bakery, a high-end GPU light mapper developed by graphics programmer and indie game developer Arthur "Mr F" Rahteenko, is now available with a 50% discount on Unity Asset Store. This production-ready tool offers an alternative to Enlighten and Progressive, providing hassle-free lightmapping solutions for game developers.
Bakery is a powerful lighting solution that offers a comprehensive set of features and capabilities. With a focus on achieving physically correct baked lighting, Bakery ensures high-quality results.
One of the key advantages of Bakery is its efficient performance, utilizing GPU for ray-tracing. For users with RTX hardware, Bakery can take full advantage of it, further enhancing the rendering process (although RTX hardware is not required).
Bakery offers various lighting options, including sky lighting with HDRI or color, IES lights, and different types of light sources such as directional, point, and spot lights. It also includes such texture maps as Albedo, Emissive, and Opacity.
Besides, Bakery can produce both complete and indirect lightmaps and even combine them on a per-light basis. Additionally, it is capable of generating shadow masks.
The light mapper offers comprehensive support for directional baking (bump/specular) with four modes: dominant direction (compatible with most shaders), Radiosity Normal Mapping, per-pixel spherical harmonics, and the ability to bake normal maps directly to diffuse. Furthermore, Bakery is also capable of handling the baking of 3D textures.
Additionally, Bakery incorporates NVIDIA's AI Denoiser, a deep learning-powered tool that effectively removes noise from the lighting, resulting in clean and polished visuals.
Bakery is now available at a discounted price of $27.50, down from its original price of $55.
