Game Developer Soerb Games has explained how to create cartoony crystals in Unity.
A couple of weeks ago, Indie Game Developer Sørb a.k.a. Soerb Games had demonstrated a cool-looking cartoony crystal shader made in Unity. The project was made using HLSL, but, according to the artist, it is also possible to achieve a similar effect using Shader Graph.
Sørb's followers and the Unity community liked the shader so much, the developer promised to share a small breakdown. And he delivered on this promise. In a short breakdown, the developer explained what you will need to get the desired result, explained how to set up refractions, how to make the crystals shine, and more.
