From video games to live-action movies, TV series, and comic books, various mediums are being adapted into anime, reflecting the growing acceptance of this art form. Speaking of which, an official John Wick anime is now in production, as confirmed by series Director Chad Stahelski in recent comments.

Following the success of the fourth installment, the massively popular movie franchise John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves, has been confirmed for a fifth movie. While specific details about the anime were not provided, the Director conveyed his excitement about the unique possibilities that only anime can explore.

Fans are already expressing their anticipation online. With John Wick's legendary status as a hitman and his thrilling adventures, the combination of his character and the boundless creativity of anime promises an action-packed experience. The absence of limitations in anime allows for highly unrealistic fight scenes, with characters able to be drawn in any position and motion. This artistic freedom has resulted in some of the most memorable and visually stunning action sequences in animation history. Given the intense action of John Wick and the limitless creativity of anime studios, the upcoming John Wick anime is undoubtedly a must-watch for enthusiasts of thrilling violence.

"So we're really looking forward to that; we're really excited about it because we're doing that and a Japanese anime because I love Japanese anime so much. So to create all the cool stories that anime could achieve better than we could and the TV show to expand our world, we'll still get our fix, you know what I mean? And we'll still have all the fun," Stahelski stated.

Some more news from the cinema world, recently, Netflix shared the first teaser for Avatar: The Last Airbender, which will be released in February 2024.
