It took the artist 120 hours to complete the project.
In case you missed it, back in December 2022, Game Developer and self-described "Cursed Art Maker" Maxim Verehin unveiled Chimes, a stunning horror animation with found footage-like vibes. Created in 120 hours, the short looks extremely realistic and, according to its creator, was made with Blender and DALL-E, which was used to create the drawings on the walls. The developer also noted that the project helped him to learn more about cloth and hair simulation physics.
Moreover, the author has also shared a short breakdown video, demonstrating the sources of inspiration behind Chimes, showing how the creature and the environment were made, and more. You can check out the full breakdown attached below or by visiting Maxim's Twitter page.
