Creativity & Career with Klaus Scherwinski: Art & Animation Summit

Klaus Scherwinski, a Visual Development Artist, has joined the session at devcom Art & Animation Summit to share the insights of his careers, tips and tricks, and discuss the role of a Storyboard Artist in the project creation. 

Klaus Scherwinski is Visual Development Artist with more than 15 years of experience in the art industry. His recent projects are Horizon Forbidden West, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Klaus started out as illustrator for pen and paper roleplaying games like Shadowrun, Battletech and Degenesis; comic artist for Heavy Metal Magazine, G.I.JOE, The Transformers, Horroschocker and more. He worked at Ctytek as storyboard and marketing artist, creating concept art, storyboards and marketing material for IPs like RYSE, Homefront2, Warface and HUNT: Horros of the Gilded Age

During the session Klaus explains the role of the storyboard artist, the stages of the work, tools he works with. The speaker shows his artworks, the workflow that stands behind the illustration, the essential and crucial skills that the storyboard artist should demonstrate.
