CD Projekt's devs thanked the community for giving the game a second chance.
It seems that CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 has finally got its No Man's Sky-style redemption arc and is now beloved by gamers worldwide. According to a new announcement shared by CDPR, the game has been visited by more than a million players, both new and returning, each day this week on all platforms. In light of that, the studio's developers thanked the community for giving Cyberpunk 2077 a second chance.
"We wanted to use this opportunity to thank you for being with us and playing the game," reads the announcement.
Earlier this week, CDPR's Quest Director Paweł Sasko thanked the players after the game hit 85,000 concurrent players on Steam – the greatest result after its release.
In case you missed it, Cyberpunk 2077 found its second wind when the Edgerunners anime came out, followed by the 1.6 patch introducing new content and the ability to customize your outfits slot by slot, as well as the announcement of the upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC.
