In a recent update published by CD Projekt Red, the studio announced that its team has added a bunch of seasoned veteran developers to work on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Orion.

If you are wondering who I'm talking about, here's a list of professionals with years of experience and lots of acclaimed AAA projects who are joining CD Projekt Red North America.

Dan Hernberg will serve as Executive Producer. Hernberg previously contributed to titles such as New World, Apex Legends, and Diablo III.

Ryan Barnard, former Game Director at Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft, as well as Gameplay Director at Hitman developer IO Interactive, brings his expertise as Design Director.

Alan Villani, previously VP of Technology on various WB Game products, including the Mortal Kombat series, joins as Engineering Director.

Anna Megill will serve as Lead Writer. She has contributed to titles such as Control, Dishonored: Death of The Outsider, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Guild Wars 2, and the upcoming Fable.

Alexander Freed will also contribute to the writing for the sequel. He has worked as Lead Writer at BioWare on Star Wars: The Old Republic and has written for major studios such as DICE, Obsidian Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast, and FoxNext.
