Terraria, a 13-year-old pixelated sandbox survival game and the first game on Steam to reach 1 million positive reviews (still boasting a 97% positive rating), has introduced a new refund policy. The game's creator and CEO of Re-Logic, Andrew Spinks, known as Redigit on social media, announced on Twitter that if you can defeat him in PVP, you'll get your money back for any reason, "no questions asked."

Faced with such an offer, fans had a very real reaction: "Why on earth would I ever want to refund Terraria?" The game, priced at $10 and previously offered at a 50% discount for $5, according to SteamDB's price history, is highly addictive and has been beloved by many for over a decade. Spinks offered a smart answer: refund it so you can buy the game again. Yes, that's likely to happen.
