Detroit: Become Human Sales Surpassed 7 Million Copies

To mark the 25th anniversary of Quantic Dream, the studio head David Cage published a message recalling the company's history and revealing that its most successful title Detroit: Become Human has sold over 7 million copies.

On May 1, 2022, the independent French studio and publisher Quantic Dream celebrated its 25th anniversary. To honor this significant date, the head of the company David Cage published a message dug into the past remembering the early days of the studio and the developers' success.

As a part of it, Cage announced one of the team's achievements saying that the studio's 2018's adventure video game Detroit: Become Human hit another milestone.

Just one and a half months ago, Quantic Dream announced that the game's sales surpassed 6.5 million copies across console and PC which made it the most successful title in the studio's history. And now, Cage revealed that the game's sales increased by another 500,000 copies reaching 7 million units sold.

Apart from that, Cage noted that over the years of its existence, Quantic Dream has managed to go multi-project, increase its staff, and open a new office in Montreal. The company also most recently announced the Star Wars Eclipse game that is currently in the works which Cage refers to as "the most ambitious game in our history".

David Cage expressed deep thanks to the fans of the studio's games for their passion and their support saying that they are "the reason Quantic Dream exists".
