Devs Are Remaking Vampire The Masquerade – Redemption in Skyrim

The team's latest gameplay trailer showcases firearms mechanics.

Every day, it becomes more apparent that, 13 years after its launch, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has truly transcended its status as a video game and has morphed into a fully-fledged game engine for developers and modders to utilize for their own creations. This sentiment is proven true by a team of developers led by Modder Galejro, who are using Skyrim to create a fan remake of Nihilistic Software's 2000 RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption.

In their latest gameplay trailer, the team offered a closer look at the remake's firearms, including pistols, revolvers, and shotguns. Despite Skyrim's medieval setting, where even the most advanced weapons pale in comparison to a regular pistol, the team has seamlessly integrated shooting and reloading animations, with some commenters even remarking that these animations look better than those found in Bethesda's own FPS games.
