Comes with cartoony outlines, different eye shapes, and customizable body fat.
Junior 3D Character Animator Sahil Banik continues to learn the ropes of CG animation by unveiling a new rigging project inspired by one of, if not the most iconic superhero of all time – Peter Parker's Spider-Man.
Made using AdvancedSkeleton, an extensive rigging and animation toolset for creating character setups in Autodesk Maya, the rig boasts tons of cool features such as cartoony outlines, breathing, tons of eye shapes, and even the ability to customize Friendly Neighborhood's body fat. According to Sahil, the project was particularly inspired by Spider-Verse movies and their depiction of Peter Parker's spidey.
The best part is, you can try out the rig yourself by downloading it free of charge. The setup is available for Maya 2022 and 2023 and can be accessed via Sahil's Gumroad page.
Previously, 3D Animator Sebs showcased a Miles Morales-inspired Spider-Man rig, for Blender which you can also get for free by clicking this link.
