Download This Cool Stylized Sheriff Rig For Maya For Free
The rig was set up by Breiner Yabichella using a custom auto rig system.
Breiner Yabichella, a Lead Technical Animator at Roarty Digital, has released Sheriff Rig, a detailed non-photorealistic sheriff rig for Maya 2022.2 or higher that doesn't require any third-party plug-ins or tools to work.
Based on Christian Garrido's SheriffAquilesCastro model, the rig was set up using a custom-made auto rig system that leverages Maya's modules. According to the creator, the rig is available free of charge for non-commercial projects, including personal reels and animations, free tutorials, and such. At the same time, it's not allowed to be used for software promotion, software demos, paid tutorials, or by schools.
While this rig was created for Maya, the creator also revealed that he plans to create a new version of the same project compatible with Unreal Engine sometime in the future. You can learn more and download Sheriff Rig for Maya by visiting Breiner's Gumroad page.
