Ex-Bethesda Developer's Heavy Metal Horror Game Got a New Trailer

And its release window has been narrowed down to October this year.

A Release Month Trailer has been unveiled for The Axis Unseen, a heavy metal horror game created by Nate Purkeypile, a former developer for Skyrim, Starfield, and Fallout.

In case you've missed our previous reports, The Axis Unseen will task you with hunting folklore monsters in a beautiful open world trapped outside of time. The game also promises to feature several tracking mechanics, enabling you to follow the monsters' tracks and blood trails. It will also require you to pay attention to the wind direction, thereby enhancing the immersion.

This game was announced back in December 2021, and we had the privilege to conduct an interview with the developer, Nate Purkeypile. He told us about the development process of this project, how he conceived the idea of a heavy metal horror game, and how his experience working on titles like Skyrim, Fallout, and Starfield influenced the development of his new game. Check it out if you are interested.
