Florida Joker Gives GTA 6 Creators 3 Days to Pay Him His Millions

His lawyers are getting ready to "go crazy" for his "mil or two."

Grand Theft Auto 6 drama refuses to calm down. Or rather, Lawrence Sullivan, a.k.a. Florida Joker does. His newfound fame/infamy seems to be pushing him to grab this story and milk it until the end.

If you've missed the fun, here's a little recap. Sullivan, once viral for his mugshot and Joker resemblance, accused Rockstar of using his image as a reference for one of the characters in the GTA 6 trailer. "GTA, we gotta talk," he said, and it is still his motto.

I said it then and I'll repeat it now: Sullivan definitely found an opportunity to get out of obscurity and I'm pretty sure he's not really angry. Roger Clark, the voice actor behind Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan, suggested that he should monetize all the attention rather than wait for Rockstar: "You ain't getting a job in Home Depot with that face."

However, Joker wouldn't be Joker if he chose an easy way. In a recent video, he demanded "a mil or two" from the game developer for taking his likeness. "We gotta talk," he repeated, and this threat now has an execution date. Sullivan gave the company 3 days to resolve the conflict (and pay him his millions plus one extra for the "biggest free marketing in the history of GTA" he provides). If not, his lawyers will "go crazy on this case."

Sullivan is not the first to sue Rockstar. In 2013, Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against the company for using her image to create one of the characters for the poster. However, it was dismissed. Interestingly, Sullivan doesn't see himself as Lindsay Lohan because he, in his words, has "hard evidence." Maybe that's why he's dyed his hair purple – to make the evidence even harder.

I wonder how this case is going to end, although I have a pretty good idea.
