The add-on replaces Blender 4.0's modifier menu with that of Blender 3.6.
Blender 4.0 was released just a week ago, and, as is always the case with major software updates, not all of its new features were warmly embraced by the community.
One specific change that has been troubling 3D Artists since the new version's launch is the revamped modifiers menu, now replaced by drop-down menus, the alteration that has proven less convenient for many experienced Blender users, not to mention the impact on muscle memory.
If you happen to be one of those artists, then I've got some good news for you. Check out the Old Modifier Menu, a free Blender plug-in developed by 3D Generalist Blue Nile 3D. This add-on brings back the pre-4.0 modifiers menu and neatly places it under the new 'Add Modifier' button, allowing users to use both menus. According to the creator, this add-on is particularly useful for new Blender users and when following tutorials for older versions.
