According to the author, the enormous WiP creature was dynamically animated with UE5's Blueprints.
Have a look at these impressive test animations of a gigantic water snake, unveiled a few days ago by 鹿野護, a Designer and Game Developer whom you might remember as one of the creators behind Otoshi no Shima, a small indie game inspired by Tohoku folklore. According to the developer, the creature was set up using spline rigging and was dynamically animated with Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5.
