Help Lady Death Herself in This Combat-Focused Metroidvania

You can back Mariachi Legends on Kickstarter.

Strike a deal with Lady Death herself in Mariachi Legends, a pixel art Metroidvania putting heavy emphasis on combat and Mexican flair.

"A violent gang known as the Mariachi Legends threaten the town of Santa Mascota. You play as Pablo Cruz, a detective who has agreed to a deal with Death herself. She has given Pablo the ability to transform into the mighty La Sombra, allowing him to fight back against the criminals encroaching on his hometown. In return, Pablo has vowed to bring Lady Death the one thing that has eluded her grasp: the man who defied her power and became immortal."

Set in Mexico in 1986, Mariachi Legends has a unique style, combining sci-fi, action-adventure, and anime. Blending folklore with fast-paced fighting, it offers an exhilarating experience requiring quick reflexes and strategic use of various weapons. Experiment with combos and weapon cores to stay afloat and use the game's Tarot system to get yourself a buff or a debuff.

Its soundtrack, inspired by mariachi music, will make this experience even more magical and rich. The game also offers Mexican cuisine for you to try and enhance your powers when you find the recipes.
