That's the spirit.

Hideki Kamiya is known not only for being a prominent Game Designer and the Founder of PlatinumGames, who worked on titles like Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Okami, and Bayonetta but also for his humorous comments.

Speaking of which, recently, the Japanese magazine Famitsu asked game creators about their plans and wishes for 2024, and Kamiya jokingly said that he wanted a job so he could afford a meal.

"I want to get a job making games so that I can have a meal," Kamiya said.

Well, it seems that jokes about wanting a job are part of his life now since he left PlatinumGames. Last time, when Kamiya released the first video on his YouTube channel, he was in his Lamborghini sports car, joking that he was going to the job center.

In a recent interview, Kamiya shared that he decided to part ways with the company because of the different development directions he and the company had. When the one-year non-competition clause is over, he'll be back to work, creating games in "Hideki Kamiya way."
