Hot Lava is a new platforming game from Klei Entertainment. The name kind of says it all. The project transports you back to your childhood imagination. You will traverse distinct worlds: from school hallways to the memories of your darkest fears. Here’s a fresh gameplay trailer to understand the basics.

Unlike so many other 3d platforming games, Hot Lava gives a very fluid and fast jumping experience. The player is free to do a bunch of various tricks, which can help him get to a lot of interesting places.

It would be interesting to learn how did the designers craft the levels of the game. It seems that there’s a lot of very interesting intersections and challenges in the game. We’ll be back with more info later.
