Ian Spriggs Presents A New Photorealistic RTX Portrait

The artist showed a new portrait of David Spriggs made with Maya and V-Ray.

Ian Spriggs presented a new beautifully-crafted portrait of David Spriggs. The artist wrote that he keeps challenging himself "to explore new styles and how we represent digital humans".

"If you want a little more context to what this portrait represents, have a look at David's artwork, he changes the way we see the form, sculpture, and light."

The portrait was created with the RTX graphic cards and V-Ray's GPU RTX render engine. Spriggs noted that no scans were used. The model was modeled and textured in Maya and Mudbox with some finishing touches added in Photoshop.
