Indie Game Developer and the creator of Cloud Gardens, a relaxing game about using plants to overgrow abandoned wasteland dioramas, Thomas van den Berg, a.k.a. Noio, has showcased a stunning new pixel art 3D project.
This time, the creator demonstrated a voxel-looking birch tree forest environment with a car driving across a bumpy bridge over a lake, created using Unity and PixPaint, the developer's plug-in for Blender that enables one to prepare 3D models for pixel painting. According to a brief description provided by Thomas, this gorgeous scene was made as a standalone project, with the developer saying that "it's not a game yet", hinting at the possibility that it might become one sometime in the future.
