INDUSTRIA Devs Tease a New Unreal Engine 5 Game

The team shared a brief look at a new "half-like", which may or may not be INDUSTRIA 2.

Game development studio Bleakmill, known as the creator of INDUSTRIA, an atmospheric action FPS set in Cold War-era East Berlin, has shared a short teaser trailer announcing that they are now working on a brand-new title, which may or may not be a sequel to the first INDUSTRIA.

While specific details about the upcoming game remain rather scarce, the developers have shared that, much like their first title, the forthcoming game will immerse players in a first-person shooter experience reminiscent of Valve's iconic Half-Life series, affectionately referred to as the "half-like" genre. Additionally, the team stated that the new FPS is powered by Unreal Engine 5, with "a lot of love put into materials, lighting, and balancing of detail amount".

The trailer itself offers little in the way of substantial information about the game, only showing an eerie industrial-style corridor with pipes and a broken brick wall. It's worth noting, however, that the short demo shared by the team also features a light fisheye effect, most likely inspired by Unrecord, also an upcoming UE5-based shooter, which blew up the Internet back in Spring.

Bleakmill's official website also features a mysterious blurry screenshot, most likely related to the new game:

At the moment, not much is known about the forthcoming FPS. We highly encourage you to visit the team's Twitter pages and website so as not to miss any future updates. Given that the new title is very likely to be INDUSTRIA 2, we also recommend checking out the original game on Steam.
