Thomas Puha, Communications Director at Remedy, announced that they had about 130 people on average working on Alan Wake 2.

The sequel to the popular horror franchise is, to date, the largest game Remedy has worked on. Puha added that it took about four years of development time.

Alan Wake launches on October 17 with path tracing and DLSS 3.5 support on PC. The game will also visit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Previously, talking about a new trailer for Alan Wake 2, Remedy's Sam Lake said that Max Payne and Quantum Break are not part of the Remedy Connected Universe. Learn more here
