The developer showcased a new and improved version of the recently-released HDA.
In case you missed it, back in March, 3D Artist and Generalist José León Molfino released Cobweb HDA, a cool tool for Houdini that lets its user to generate procedural cobwebs from straight lines and collider geometry.
A month and a half later, the author revisited the generator and further improved it to push the generated webs to a whole new level of realism. According to a short demo shared by José, the upgraded version of the HDA will be able to create the branching setup and work as a pre-process for a simple vellum sim, allowing one to emulate tension and achieve more realistic results.
