NVIDIA keeps advancing its AI efforts in the industry. This time, Lenovo and NVIDIA have expanded their partnership with new hybrid solutions to bring the power of generative AI to enterprises. They include accelerated systems, AI software, and expert services.

Lenovo, in collaboration with NVIDIA, will provide fully integrated systems that "bring AI-powered computing to everywhere data is created," helping businesses easily roll out customized generative AI applications.

These solutions are supported by the new Lenovo AI Professional Services Practice and allow businesses to adopt a hybrid cloud strategy. They can build their custom AI models using the NVIDIA AI Foundations cloud service and then run them on Lenovo systems powered by NVIDIA’s hardware and software designed for generative AI.

“Together, Lenovo and NVIDIA are driving a new era of Hybrid AI for businesses, designing the next generation of technology that delivers an AI-powered future now and unlocks the power of their data anywhere it is created,” said Kirk Skaugen, President of Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group. “Lenovo’s expanded engineering and time to market partnership with NVIDIA simplifies the path to generative AI for all and helps customers anywhere rapidly use cutting-edge AI to transform their business.”

Companies can customize enterprise-grade large language models (LLMs) with NVIDIA NeMo, an end-to-end, cloud-native framework to build and deploy generative AI models. Additionally, they can build generative AI applications with their business data, optimized for production on Lenovo hybrid AI solutions.

Lenovo's ThinkSystem SR675 V3 server and ThinkStation PX workstation lie at the core of the new deal. The server will include NVIDIA L40S GPUs, NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking, while ThinkStation PX will bring expanded AI capability and data center performance with its NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada GPUs.

Moreover, Lenovo and NVIDIA will create next-generation systems based on NVIDIA MGX modular reference design and help businesses implement simulations with NVIDIA Omniverse, a platform for developing OpenUSD applications.

The Lenovo solutions will also support the VMware Private AI Foundation with NVIDIA, enabling VMware customers to quickly spread the adoption of generative AI.
