Amazon has released a new beta version of Lumberyard, the team's powerful game engine.
The latest 1.25 release brings a new user interface, GPU-enabled NVIDIA Cloth support, a new White Box Tool for rudimentary in-editor modeling, and more. There are new Script Canvas Functions, and over 120 bug fixes.
As for the new interface, UI 2.0, the team has redesigned and rebuilt the Lumberyard UI using Qt and modern UI principles for usability, consistency, and flexibility. The team also noted that the interface now supports 4K (and other high-DPI) displays now, plus multi-monitor setups.
There's also a new version of the starter game with PhysX support improved assets, plus Script Canvas integration. You can learn more about the latest update here.
