Mesmerizing Emerging Ship Simulation Made in Blender

The sim took 8 hours to bake and 2 hours to render on an RTX 4090 GPU.

Have a look at this gorgeous 3D simulation depicting a caravel emerging from the depths of a beautiful digital ocean, created by 3D Artist and Animator known as MR_WACKER. Currently WIP, the project was set up in Blender using a store-bought ship model and FLIP Fluids, a popular liquid simulation add-on that lets you easily create high-quality fluid effects. According to the creator, the sim took eight hours to bake and two hours to render at Full HD 24 FPS on an RTX 4090 GPU and i9-13980HX CPU.

And here are some of the earlier showcases shared by the author:

Even though the simulation itself has been finalized, the artist noted that the showcased result is not the final render. As such, we highly recommend following MR_WACKER on Reddit so as not to miss the reveal of the complete simulation.
