Metal Gear Solid 1-3 Remasters Are Reportedly in Development

Noted leaker Dusk Golem says the rumors are "100% true."

The rumors of the Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3 remasters have been around for a while. When VGC mentioned Konami's plans in its recent article, a well-known leaker Dusk Golem confirmed the information saying it's "100% true": "the plan is to release the three remasters separately but also together as a collection."  Dusk Golem also claimed you'll also get the MSX versions of Metal Gear 1 and 2 if you buy the remasters together.

Apart from the remakes, rumor has it that a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is in production at Virtuous Studios. Silent Hill 2 remake is also said to be in development by Bloober Team.

Metal Gear Solid is a stealth game series developed by Konami originally for PlayStation. The first game was released in 1998. It was written, directed, and produced by Hideo Kojima.

Konami hasn't commented on the news and more solid proof is yet to be uncovered, so stay tuned, check out Dusk Golem's messages on ResetEra's forum, and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
