The developer claims that Microsoft decided not to release No Regerts on Xbox as it "doesn’t fit their library."
Developer Running With Scissors has revealed that Postal 4: No Regerts won't be available on Xbox consoles.
On March 7, the studio announced that the PlayStation version of the latest chapter of Dude's adventures will launch on March 21. When asked by a fan if the game will also come to Xbox, the developer replied that it won't as Microsoft refused to release it on its platforms.
Running With Scissors later shared that it doesn't know the exact reason for Microsoft's decision adding that the platform holder just said that the game "doesn’t fit" the Xbox library. Additionally, the developer stated that No Regerts will not be released on the Nintendo Switch either.
As of now, the game can only be accessed on PC, but it will be released on PS4 and PS5 on March 21.
No Regerts' PC version is highly criticized by players and critics, with the press describing it as a "genuinely awful experience" and the audience expressing disappointment with the game's performance issues, very basic gameplay, and too lame jokes. The game even topped the list of worst games of 2022, according to Metacritic.
