Modder Downgraded God of War Ragnarök Graphics

Now some characters are missing body parts and polygons.

Usually, mods are made to improve games, but modder Speclizer thought differently and turned God of War Ragnarök into a PlayStation 2 game by downgrading its graphics. Now there are angles everywhere, low-quality textures, and some characters are missing body parts. Despite that, some people in the comments say it's both too bad and too good to be on PS2.

All the modifications seem to be working just fine (kind of), at least in the cutscenes shown in the video.

Ragnarök was released barely two weeks ago, but the community has made some changes already. Speclizer also rid Kratos of his beard and even turned the game's photo mode into a free camera, hoping that the devs "left an out-of-bounds easter egg somewhere again".

Some fans took Ragnarök a step further and created a PlayStation 1 demake. Check it out here to compare it to Speclizer's mod.
