A New Teaser Trailer for The Last of Us TV Adaptation Released

The new trailer shows some gorgeous post-apocalyptic environments and demonstrates what the TV version's Clickers will look like.

Yesterday, during The Last of Us Day, Naughty Dog's annual holiday created nine years ago to celebrate the studio's now legendary franchise, HBO Max presented a new trailer teaser for The Last of Us TV adaptation, an upcoming post-apocalyptic drama based on the game starring Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. The trailer shared a glimpse at the upcoming series, demonstrating some outstanding environments that look similar to those in the original game and even showing the series' version of a Clicker, one of The Last of Us' dangerous mutated creatures hated by the players due to the sheer amount of bindings and blades one would need just to fend them off. According to the trailer's description, the series will be released on HBO Max next year.

Additionally, Naughty Dog itself also celebrated the ninth TLoU day by sharing several GIFs with the game's characters that parody some well-known GIFs and pay homage to the team's favorite movies, memes, and TV series:
