Realistic Eagle Made With Maya, Mari & Yeti

The project was made to learn more about Yeti's feather system.

Groom Artist and Creature Designer Guillermo Cortes showcased a fantastic new digital animal created to learn more about Yeti's feather system. This time, the author demonstrated a realistic-looking eagle, featuring 20 incredibly-detailed feathers groomed with the aforementioned toolset for creating fur, feathers, and procedural geometry. Additionally, the artist utilized Yeti and nHair to make a simulation, Mari for texturing, and Arnold for rendering.
