Realistic Snow Simulation Made in Houdini

Chetan Kadu showcased a new Houdini-powered project.

Have a look at this realistic simulation showcasing a pile of snow falling from the sky and collapsing into numerous smaller snow particles upon collision with an object, created by FX Artist Chetan Kadu.

According to the creator, the simulation was created using Houdini, a procedural 3D software utilized for modeling, rigging, animation, VFX, look development, lighting, and rendering in the fields of film, TV, advertising, and video games, developed by SideFX.

Earlier, Chetan also demonstrated a tasty simulation of a cascading chocolate syrup covering an ice cream, also made with SideFX's flagship software. You can learn more about the artist by visiting Chetan's LinkedIn page.
