LogInHere's a cool Geometry Nodes-based generator that can create Shanghai's districts.
Back in June 2021, we wrote an article about Alexey Yakovlev's cool Geometry Nodes-based tool for Blender 2.93+ that can generate Soviet-style apartment buildings in just a few clicks. A Blender Artist known as Yin was so inspired by Alexey's project that he created his own generator based on Alexey's, the difference is, instead of Khrushchyovkas, Yin's generator can create Old Shanghai Blocks, also using Blender's Geometry Nodes. You can check out the demonstration video above.
As for right now, not much is known about Yin's generator, but the author promises to add more to it in the future. In the meantime, we highly encourage you to visit Yin's Instagram account, filled to the brim with fantastic Blender-made projects and environments.
