Spatial Launches Shooty Shooty, Showcasing What's Possible For Web Based Gaming

The game lets you upgrade your character and battle hordes of diabolic skulls.

Spatial, a Unity-powered UGC gaming platform that enables developers to instantly publish and monetize multiplayer games to web, mobile, and VR, has released Shooty Shooty, a free Vampire Survivors-inspired roguelite survival game that lets you upgrade your character and battle hordes of diabolic skulls.

"We are at a breakthrough moment for web gaming and we're excited to be able to showcase what's possible with our first entry in a lineup of groundbreaking games," said Anand Agarawala, CEO and Co-Founder at Spatial. "The Unity-powered graphics are stunning, it's kind of crazy that this is possible within a web browser!"

The game plays like a bite-sized Risk of Rain or Vampire Survivors. It's impressively crisp and juicy, it feels like the re-birth of the decade-old addictive flash games turned up to eleven.

"The original pitch was simply to create something that looked and felt amazing. Within a week, we had it prototyped and began playtesting and iterating until the game was so fun that some team members couldn't stop playing over the weekends. Combining the freedom of Unity with the backbone of Spatial made this one of the fastest and most productive game jams I've been a part of," said Alan Sherba, a Game Developer at Spatial, who chronicles the visual progression here.
