Restore ravaged environment in this upcoming game by the developers of Broforce.
If you are tired of generic city-building simulators but still remain a fan of the genre, here's a game that you should definitely check out. Meet Terra Nil, an upcoming game by the developer of Broforce Free Lives and Devolver Digital that subverts the genre and tasks you to restore a ravaged environment to its natural beauty. The developers describe the game as a "reverse city builder" with the goal of building not a bustling city but an ecological paradise complete with different flora and fauna instead.
Features:
- The phases of wasteland reclamation: Begin with the water system, slowly purify the soil, and cultivate pioneer greenery. Embark on more ambitious tasks, restore biodiversity, fix the climate, introduce wildlife, and finally recycle all the structures you used to get there, leaving the environment pristine.
- Unique, procedurally generated maps: Each region of the game has its own flavor and procedural generation palette. Yet even within a region, no two playthroughs will be the same.
- Picturesque landscapes: Navigate sprawling, verdant, hand-painted environments where everything but the rocks moves and breathes. A meditative soundtrack and stunning audio palette will accompany your efforts.
The game is set to be released in early 2023, you can learn more and wishlist it here. Also, don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
